TekyGo! Active Gaming: Bringing Movement into Indoor Play

Indoor play does not have to mean sitting still. TekyGo! combines on-screen adventures with movement, using a television, a Portal console, and a trampoline motion sensor to turn physical actions into game inputs.

What is TekyGo?

TekyGo! is an interactive gaming platform designed for young children. Instead of using a handheld controller during gameplay, children move and bounce to influence what happens on screen. The Portal connects to a television, while a sensor reads movement on the trampoline.

The range is aimed at children aged two to six. Always check the age guidance, weight limits, and instructions for the specific equipment and bundle before use.

How the system works

The Portal connects to the TV with an HDMI cable. The motion sensor is positioned beneath the trampoline and connected to the Portal according to the setup instructions. A remote is used to navigate menus and choose a game, then movement becomes part of the adventure.

Choosing a bundle

The Portal and Sensor Bundle includes the console, motion sensor, HDMI cable, and remote. It is intended for families who already have a children's indoor trampoline. Confirm compatibility with your equipment before choosing this option.

The Trampoline Bundle adds a Junior Bouncer trampoline with a foam-grip safety bar. This gives families an option that brings the gaming components and trampoline together in one bundle.

Learning through movement

Movement-led games offer opportunities to practise timing, coordination, and following directions. Children can connect their physical actions with an on-screen response, exploring cause and effect through play.

Games can also introduce counting, colours, vocabulary, and simple missions. Younger players may focus on bright cues and straightforward actions, while older children can explore longer sequences and more involved challenges.

Planning an indoor play space

For families spending hot UAE afternoons indoors, TekyGo! offers another way to include movement in the day. Make sure the play area has suitable clearance around and above the trampoline, and follow the manufacturer's placement and supervision guidance.

An adult should supervise play. Follow the trampoline's permitted number of users and safety instructions, even when a game offers multiplayer options. Take breaks and balance active gaming with other forms of play.
